Hi All friends and family...I'm surfacing for the new year and wish you all peace and wellness and blessings.
I've been reading a book on SLAVERY "American Slavery As It Is: Testimony of a Thousand Witnesses" by Abolitionist
Theodore... D. Weld ...yeah, I know that's not so pleasant, BUT WE NEED TO KNOW THE TRUTH and it was MUCH worse than we thought...ROOTS just scratched the surface of the industry and institutional destruction and evil of African American slavery. Django Unchained will only give you a theatrical vision, but this book details the words of slaveholders, slaves and eye witnesses, court documents and testimonies of clergy, statesmen and government. Pray that no one should never be in the hands of such evil again. God will judge.
